Check out the recipe below...

Ingredients

1 scoop (34g) Macro1 ONE Protein, chocolate brownie

2 tbsp (20g) black cocoa powder*

1/4 cup (64g) almond butter (I used American Dream)

2 tbsp almond milk (might need slightly more or less if you are using a different protein, but don't recommend swapping out for other protein)

1 tbsp regular cocoa powder (to roll the truffles in)

Notes

*Black cocoa powder is the cocoa powder that is used to give Oreos the black color and has a slightly different distinct flavor. Regular cocoa powder can be used as well.

**Any almond butter will work for this recipe. You could even sub peanut butter.

Must use ONE Protein. Whey protein won't give the same, fudgy truffle consistency.

Instructions

  1. Add protein powder, cocoa powder, almond butter, and almond milk to a bowl. Mix together well until a thick, basically cookie dough texture is formed.
  2. Placed dough in freezer for about 10 minutes to chill. This will make it easier to roll into balls.
  3. Once chilled, roll into 4 balls. Next, place some extra cocoa powder on a plate or in a bowl and roll the truffles in cocoa powder to give a chocolate coating.
